Description (English)

Enable People Powered members to nominate and vote on candidates for the People Powered Board of Directors. Currently, staff select Board of Directors members, based on organizational needs, collaborating with candidates on test projects, and criteria to ensure geographic and gender balance. The new policy would enable People Powered members to select some Board of Directors members. It would allow more democratic governing power for members, but also require greater member involvement.
