People Powered invites ideas on projects and organizational policies from members, staff and the public once a year, towards the end of the year, to enable planning and prioritization for the following year. This is quite progressive and commendable. However, in a fast-changing world, a year may be too long. Add a bi-annual collection of ideas on projects and policies to provide an opportunity for mid-year review of commitments and implementation. Two rounds of budget and policy decision-making could be too many for a year. It might be more realistic to have a mid-term review not too time-consuming.

In favor  

Bi annual review of priorities is key with the current changes globally. Annually we should set broad priorities and then a miles tone document that can keep changing.
