2022 Budget
Decide what we do together
Participatory Policy-Making resources
Compile and develop new resources on participatory policy-making. The policy formulation process is often guided by a top down approach which fails to incorporate the people's interests and policy inputs. Enhancing participation for grassroots communities in the policy formulation process should be a key pillar in entrenching participatory democracy.
Low cost estimate assumes one webinar and accompanying resource materials. High cost estimate assumes two. Expenses would include staff time for coordination, honoraria for speakers and facilitators, design, and translation.
Cost estimate: $10,000-$20,000

Beyond honoraria for speakers and facilitators, would costs e.g. for a consultant to develop the new resources for participatory policy making be needed?
