Co-creating deliberative democracy tools for action - Bootcamp
The Bootcamp consists of a two weeks-long event held in Colombia (June - July 2022), in which diverse deliberation practitioners, organizations, and stakeholders cooperate and co-create prototypes of solutions to overcome the challenges of deliberative democracy in the Global South. The activity will gather thirty practitioners from five sub-regions of the Global South (Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and Latin America). The main objective of the Bootcamp is to co-create solution prototypes to deliberative processes in the Global South. This initiative will be part of the on-going project called Demo-Reset, a project that aims to strengthen the ability of deliberation practitioners to carry out successful deliberative processes in unequal and polarized societies in the Global South, in partnership with the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) and Extituto de Política Abierta. Cost estimate: $25,000-$100,000 Original idea: https://participate.peoplepowered.org/processes/budget/f/1/proposals/116

@AlunaSB & @extituto could you give feedback in the comments on the proposed expenses and cost for this proposal?
I think this project is really interesting @extituto if looking for deliberative democracy practitioners in Eastern Europe we might be able to support https://www.demsoc.org
