Accepted
Actions to maximize the impact of Participatory Budgeting (PB) in 3 Latin American cities. Includes full implementation of innovations in PB processes to strengthen community participation, adding instances of online participation in order to complement face-to-face instances. We intend to demonstrate that the incorporation of technological tools attracts new voices to the public deliberation process, incorporates new issues into the Participatory Budgeting, and increases the number of voters. Profile of the 3 cities: - PB legislation - Different scales (less than 100,000 inhabitants; between 250 and 500,000; and more than 1M) - Different political-ideological signs
